NORTH SHORE DOG TRAINING CLUB

MACH4 Otterby Thane of MacDuff CDX RN AXP AJP NF CGC AD O-EJC O-EAC OGC FM TT

MacDuff and I joined North Shore Dog Training Club in 1996 and life has been a fun-filled experience through competition ever since. Duff earned his CGC at the tender age of 10 months and then went on to earn his Companion Dog title (CD) at age 2. Duff showed, very early, that he was eager to please and would act enthusiastically in everything we did. We took up agility a year after his CD and started to compete when he was 4 years old. While he liked obedience, he absolutely adored agility. We found that special venue that both mom and dog loved. Duff picked up his CDX only a couple weeks before he picked up his first agility championship (Master Agility Champion-MACH)

While the purpose of the NSDTC Dog of the Month is to feature Duff's lifetime achievements, we still continue to compete and train in obedience and agility. MacDuff picked up his Novice FAST (Fifteen And Send-Time) title on June 3, 2007.

MacDuff’s accomplishments include the following:

  • Master Agility Championships: 4 (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006)
  • Invitation to AKC Inaugural Agility Invitational as Top-Five Border Terrier (2006)
  • Top-Five MACH Points in Border Terriers (2003-2005). Top Male Border Terrier (2003-2004).
  • AKC Agility Nationals Qualifier (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007)
  • 3-scores short (out of 20) for World Team Invitational participation (2003-2004)
  • Front-and-Finish Honors:
